Welcome to our garden at Killmacomma, Clonmel. The mature garden, which is on a acre site, has been developed by Pauline and Pat Hegarty over the past thirty years. The garden is located in a scenic area just two miles from Clonmel on the Dungarvan road (R671) and is overlooked by wooded areas back and front.

The garden has a neutral soil which allows acid loving plants to flourish. It contains a variety of trees , shrubs and herbaceous plants. The garden is divided into different areas some of which contain natural stone features, small ponds and a Japanese section.

The garden is wheelchair accessible.

In the Viking Irish Garden Awards 2008 the garden achieved the award for the best garden in County Waterford. Although located in County Waterford I participate each year in the South Tipperary Garden Festival which in 2009 will be held on the last week end of June. During that week end the garden will open on Saturday and Sunday from 11.00 a.m. to 07.00 p.m. Admission: 5.00 and proceeds will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Society. At other times the garden will open by appointment.
